Carver Center Gallery

The Carver Center Gallery exhibits emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines and subject matter. Our mission is to expose students to a wide variety of work that is representative of the contemporary art world.

The Carver Center Gallery is housed by George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology and is run and curated by the Visual Arts Department. The Gallery collaborates with the Visual Arts department to host artist talks, workshops, and receptions for the Carver Center and local communities.

Lynne Parks - Drawing Workshop from Digital Film @ CCAT on Vimeo.

Drawing workshop organized in conjunction with Lynn Parks’s exhibition in December 2015. Parks brought in frozen birds for the students to draw after her talk. Proposals for student workshops in conjunction with exhibition proposals are welcome and are accompanied by a small stipend.
